On Friday November 14th 2008 eighty eight people
gathered at the Cavalry & Guards Club in London to
Celebrate the 100th Anniversary of the Foundation
of Olivetti in conjunction with the 13th Olivetti Reunion Lunch.
To add to the occasion we had the pleasure of
welcoming the Managing Director of Olivetti UK, Dennis Woods.
Those who attended came from many different parts
of the UK and several of the group had travelled from
far away places to be at the event. Jim Edward from
Canada, Gary Mason from the USA, Mark Lane Jones
from Botswana, Mike Cunnington from Spain and
Mark McEvoy from Ireland.
It was also a great pleasure to have at the lunch Gino Gastado-Brac,
who was one of the first to arrive from Italy in 1947 to establish
Olivetti in the UK.
